As you learn how to wedge clay and correctly center it on the wheel, you will begin to see the piece that is hiding in the clay, waiting for you to see what form it takes.

Once your piece has taken shape, you’ll refine it through trimming, then finish with glazing. Experimenting with color and texture to make your creation uniquely yours.

Finally, you’ll be introduced to the basics of kiln firing, witnessing the transformation that heat and time bring to your work.
